3/13/2010. Done blocking. Trying to think of a good way to close/fasten it. Ribbon? Button? Snap? Hook and eye?

Finally done knitting. The edging…good God, the edging. It took FOR-FREAKING-EVER. I ended up doing a three needle bind off when I joined the edging because no matter how I tried, the grafting did not look right. The bind off creates a seam, but with it behind the neck, I don’t much care.

Due to an unfortunate sharpie incident (thank you, husband), I didn’t have enough of one dyelot to do the entire project, so the edging is done in a different dyelot. It’s definitely different, but I’m hoping that it can be considered “design feature” rather than “glaring, obvious error.” The only other option was to reknit the entire thing, so please, if it’s glaring, don’t tell me. It might break my heart.
