A good friend’s daughter was hoping for an American Girl doll for her birthday - Rebecca - so I just had to knit up a fair isle dress for “Becky”.

It was lots of fun - fiddly - I ended up cutting it in half and redoing the top to make a larger back opening for the head - I should have known that dolls have big heads LOL!

I used the Garment Designer standard American Girl Doll sloper - and it fits perfectly!

There are a couple of motifs here that I’d like to use in the future - a great swatching exercise with a fun product at the end.
