This was coming up too tight, which surprised me after the black one I made using DK and the same size hook was OK. I’ve gone back and added in fifteen extra stitches by crocheting 3sc, 2sc in next sc in round 8. I’ll see how that goes!

It’s coming up a more comfortable fit now. In fact it loosened up a bit too much and when it got down past my ear lobes I decreased five stitches. It’s not as snug as I’d like round my ears but it will do and I love the way the yarn has turned out.

In fact, I wore it out and thought it would fall off! So I remade it entirely according to the original pattern and it’s a bit too tight. Sigh. I think it’s wearable though.
