I thought I’d remake the hat I made yesterday but using a yarn that is bulkier, to make a slouchier hat.

I love this colour: I’d call it bluebell rather than Denim.

I’m finding it easy to split the stitches when I’m pulling through all nine loops on the hook for the puff stitch so I’m having to take extra care.

It’s a gorgeous hat, but not very warm, so I lined it with cream double crochet in the same wool. Now it’s a ski hat!

It looks rather like a tea cosy to me but my son says it’s more like an old fashioned ladies’ swim hat! I think it’s rather a silly hat and I absolutely adore it!
