I tried to knit a hat in the 3:30 train trip to the Cervin: my daughter needed a warmer hat.
I finally knit her 3/4 of this hat, that she wore with her white hat, as a lining and a brim.
I finished the hat the next day. She can wear it alone, or combine it with the white one.
It is a dark navy blue, very pretty color.
