I loved making this, despite all the nupps slowing things down rather - didn’t find them too bad thanks to the easy peasy nupps video on you tube.

I promised my mother two shawls for her 60th, and really enjoyed making this one - and she loved it! I liked the colour and drape of the yarn, and the way the variegation worked with the lace.

But if I were to knit it again I’d knit more than the recommended 13 pattern reps. I knew the edge would take a lot of yarn, so I went into it when the pattern recommended it, despite having loads of yarn left. As you can see from the numbers above, I still had loads of yarn left! But it means I have enough gorgeous yarn in my stash for something small for me.
