Cast on last night and I am so excited! Been wanting to knit this one for so long so now is the time. Using the yarn from my ill fated Flaum.

Will be using the mod from ElizabethMcMurtry’s Exeter to remove the lace because winter in Chicago needs a thick solid knit!

Knit the 6” of ribbing twice because I realized while doing the setup row I had the wrong number of stitches. Then decided to knit the cable section as written rather than removing the YOs. I liked the effect of removing them in my swatch but didn’t end up loving it over the entire back.

Back is finished and blocked and I’m to the pocket on the front left.
