6/14 Rt front started. On 3rd skein.

7/11/12-Fronts and backs three needle BO together and blocking to see if I can get enough width in the chest to make it wearable. If not, maybe it will fit a sister.

My God, what was I thinking? WAY too small for the twins. Tried on my sis Karen, perfect. Becoming her Christmas gift. : )

Knitting sleeves top down using Wendy Bernard’s instructions in Custom Knits. Goofed and knit sleeves on a needle #5. Also should have used a smaller needle to pick up the initial sts around the arm hole. That first row is a little looser than the rest of the sleeve and that bugs me. Sleeves pull in a bit too much but figured that out after one sleeve was nearly finished. Kept it as is.

Sleeve notes: PU 76. - Place markers when picking up sts. 27 sts to left and 27 sts to the right of the bottom center marker. Markers at 11 sts to the left and 11 sts to the rt of the top center of the sleeve. Calculated spacing of decreases to cuffs.

Took to MN with cuff sts on holders. Tried on Karen (she swears she didn’t peek) and added one inch to the arm length.

12/24: Karen opened her sweater gift tonight and she loves it. I am so proud!

Will I make one for me? Maybe. The panels down the front make me feel busty. I’ll likely incorporate the back panel into a different sweater shape.
