Materials I used:
-- Size US 17 circular needles(if using magic loop) or DPNs
-- 2 skeins of Hometown USA Dallas Grey
-- 2 buttons
-- yarn needle
-- scissors

I casted on 36 instead of 50 and it turned out great for a 6 pounder baby.

I also thought the flaps were way too long, so I just stitched the side up till about a couple inches.
