Cast on 8 Dec 14 to fill in time whilst I wait to go to the airport.

18th Jan: I have been working steadily on this since I got back from New York on Dec 10th until ran out of yarn today. I have completed 5 repeats of the pattern as directed but have been only able to do the first row of the net to complete the shawlette… have placed an order for more yarn rather than finagle with the pattern (hey, I like this yarn and I’m sure the leftovers will make a nice cowl, mitts or hat).

31 Jan: yarn arrived yesterday (so fast!!) so I caked it and finished the shawl - it’s huge - wingspan is 270cm and the depth at the widest point is 50cm - wraps around my shoulders twice without problems!
