This poor shawl got stuck in the “Stalled Shawls” pile for far too long.

I took it with me on a week long holiday break to Denmark (country town in Western Australia) where I attacked it with vigour and finally got it down to the last lace stripe.

++On this holiday JK and I were wracked with a pretty awful attack of gastro so the food/wine tasting and other activities that we’d planned were severely curtailed and I managed much more knitting and reading than I normally would whilst we tried to recover. We did recover and get out and about from the 4th day of 6. Also finished during this break: Emerson socks for Dr K in time for his birthday.
