Started these yesterday in our “Motel of Indulgence” and whilst visiting with the In-laws in Mount Barker Western Australia.

These are going to be an indulgent knit (I’ve not been casting on new projects this year, it’s meant to be a year of “vanilla” socks and hats for friends and finishing off WIPS) -- This one is an exception for my birthday celebrations!

Finished the lace pattern on the right sock. I just love how these are coming out.

Finished sock one last night! I managed to confuse the double decreases on the “flower” pattern on the foot. They are all twisted double decreases, oops. I liked how it looked and decided to leave it be. They fit fine. This is the right sock.

Now to remember to follow the instructions for the left!

Finished sock number two last night. Soaked and put on the blockers before I left for work this morning… in the image with both socks on blockers they are still a little damp. Will have to wait till tomorrow or the weekend for a proper modelled shot.
