1/7/13: I had Dave take photos of me today, and I ended up wearing this for several hours. I like it a lot. It’s warm and the wool isn’t at all scratchy.

1/4/13: Finished and blocking. The third photo shows the cowl blocking next to all of my hand knit socks that I washed yesterday. Quite an array of knitted objects!

This project used exactly one skein of yarn. Now I have to come up with a project for the other skein.

12/22/12: I am planning to participate in the Stash and Burn Use-It-or-Lose-It KAL and the Doubleknit Deep Stash KAL in 2013 so I cast on this one-skein cowl as a warm up. I have had this yarn in my stash since 2009, so I’m glad to be using some of it up. The yarn is thick and thin, and the thin parts are VERY thin, which I’m not liking very much.
