12/25/13: Dave loved the hat, and Matt was wearing his when he arrived for Christmas dinner, so I got some photos of the two of them, each modeling one of the sides of the hat. As you can see, they weren’t entirely serious…

12/22/13: I liked the hat pattern I knit for my nephew Matt so well that I knit another one for Dave. He doesn’t have a warm hat for when he hikes in wintertime, so this should fill the bill. My only mod was to cast on with a US 7 and knit the ribbing on a US 6 before switching back to a 7 for the body of the hat.
