Went up a needle size to get gauge, which I probably didn’t need to do, as I ran out of yarn 10 rows from the end. Ordered an emergency second skein and alternated every two rows to the end and so far the colors are indistinguishable to me. (Shame this yarn is discontinued, it’s lovely.)

I’m not a huge fan of the bobble-y look, I like the look of it in the pattern photos much more, so I’m going to try blocking it. I’ve never blocked a hat before!

Okay, this is…too large. Frogged and edited the pattern to remove a couple of pattern repeats; maybe the next try will be better.
