Here’s the goal- knit 12 purple hats. The rules-No hat can be the same stitch pattern, and can only be purple (yay stash busting). All hats must be knit by Dec 31, 2012.

Hat 1: Plain/Standard Pattern
Hat 2: Waffle Rib 2 (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 3: Knit 2 rows, Purl a row
Hat 4: Yarn Over Cable (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 5: Little Shell Rib (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 6: Double Moss (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 7: Willow Buds (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 8: Crossover Rib (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 9: Purled Ladder (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 10: Small Capitals (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 11: Oblique Openwork (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)
Hat 12: Waffle Rib 1 (Sensational Knit Socks Pattern)

There seems to be additional purple yarn and I’ve decided to keep knitting hats until it’s gone- so this might be 14 hats instead of 12! Stay Tuned…

Hat 14: Stripes (there wasn’t enough purple for a whole hat but I really wanted to finish every last drop of this yarn!)
