11/6/09 - Poor Jack. If one looked at this project right now, they’d think this pattern must be awfully difficult, seeing as I started it almost 2 months ago and still don’t have anything more than the picture of the skein posted! Unfortunately for Jack, the problem is that I keep getting lured away by other projects. But I’m back, I’m sticking with you this time, buddy, I prom--ooh, shiny!

11/6/09 (later) - Oh, Jack. I’m sorry…so, so sorry.

8/5/12, 00:12 PDT - I never stuck, and it was time for both of us to be honest about it and part ways. I’ve come to realize it could never work, because I like my patterns top down and you’re bottom up. And we’d have to start all over anyway because the intended recipient was 4 when I started and he’s now 7…and a lot taller.

But all is not lost. I’ll be having a fling with this wonderful yarn when I turn it into a couple stuffed bunnies. I hope you understand.
