This is my third Spiral Cowl. It is a fun and easy project.

Since the yarn was finer (6 stitches per inch in the pattern stitch) than called for in the pattern, I used a US size 6 needle rather than a size 7 as called for in the pattern. I kept the same number of stitches which resulted in a slightly smaller cowl. I might add a couple of repeats if I used this yarn again.

I chose one of the options in the pattern and added rows to the length of the cowl. With the finer yarn and smaller needles, I did not need to narrow the neck.
