Lovely pattern! I am going to make a hat to complete her outfit.
Pattern for the hat, using short rows.
45 stitches, knit two rows MC
Knit untill the 40th stitch, knit back 40 stitches, MC.
Knit untill the 35th stitch, knit back 35 stitches, MC.
Knit until the 30th stitch, knit back 30 stitches, MC.
Knit untill the 25th stitch, knit back 10 stitches in MC, knit back 15 stitches in CC.
Knit 15 stitches in CC, KNIT 5 stitches in MC, knit back 5 stitches in MC, knit back 15 stitches in CC.
Knit 15 stitches in CC, knit back stitches in CC.
Knit 15 stitches in CC, knit 30 stitches in MC.
Knit all stitches back in MC, last 15 stitches use the combined stitch from the steps pattern.
Repeat untill you have a big enough hat.
