I grabbed the last skein of this colorway of the Silk Garden Sock during the April sale at Webs. It sat on my coffee table for about a month when I couldn’t resist it any longer. Worried it would be slightly scratchy as a shawl I combined it with the super soft Alpaca Silk and it ended up altogether lovely.

I’m glad I was attracted to this pattern years ago and downloaded it then even though I had no plans to make it right away. It was not at all difficult to do and is just a basic garter stitch triangle, but nice to have the little bit of guidance given in the pattern.
