Knitting these again because I love my gray pair so much.

My top-down variation.

CO 70.
k4, p2, k2, p2, k2, p2 around, for 2 rounds, then start working the RC cables on the k4 columns every four rounds. Work for 6 crosses, then two more rounds.

Next round, k2tog in the purl columns between k2 ribs. These k5 become coin cables.

Coin cross every 6 rounds starting when you cross the RC cables on the next round.

Working the cables without a cable needle (as usual).
