Decided to use a pure merino wool instead of an alpaca blend (as recommended by the pattern) to provide more structure. The first time I made this pattern was with an alpaca/merino blend. It has great drape and is very soft, but it is stretching out more than I would like. Lana is a great alternative to the recommended yarn. It is soft, and I am happy with the drape.

I donated this wrap to my children’s school silent auction. The bidding started at $50, and the final bid was $300!
