Notes

This pattern is absolutely perfect for variegated yarns - I like it so much, I’ll make another pair to keep for myself. I had a really hard time grasping the transition between the pattern written flat and in the round - finally after hours of knitting and reknitting (woe!), my hands figured out what to do and the leg sailed along beautifully - joy!

One tip: easiest to see when working in the round, but true on the instep as well, the yarn carried in front when you slip your stitches will always make a triangle out of a previous row’s downward-facing V. If you are not “closing” a triangle each time you slip 5, knit 1, you are probably starting your round in the wrong place (ask me how I know).

I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bindoff once again and loved it; no flaring or ruffle at the cuff, just lots of stretch.
