This is pattern #29 in the book, which Ravelry does not have a list of patterns for yet. Here are some errors I found:

On chart 1, page 84, lines 3,4, 20 and 21 should all be contrast color, but the chart has them as main color (the chart 1 on page 85 shows this the correct way).

Also, the decrease rounds are wrong. Here is what I did, starting with 84 stitches (was the only way I could figure out to end with the 8 stitches they said to end with) (You’ll notice it’s pretty much exactly what they said, except the book says Round 1 should be (k9, k2tog) which leaves you with 77 stitches, not the 80 it says you’ll end with).
Round 1: (k19, k2tog)x4 (80 stitches)
Round 2: (k8, k2tog)x8 (72 stitches)
Round 3: (k7, k2tog)x8 (64 stitches)
Round 4: (k6, k2tog)x8 (56 stitches)
Round 5: (k5, k2tog)x8 (48 stitches)
Round 6: (k4, k2tog)x8 (40 stitches)
Round 7: (k3, k2tog)x8 (32 stitches)
Round 8: (k2, k2tog)x8 (24 stitches)
Round 9: (k1, k2tog)x8 (16 stitches)
Round 10: (k2tog)x8 (8 stitches)

You’ll notice from my pictures I strictly did the hat…no ear flaps or tassles or pom poms. I’m made mine for a one year old who’s first birthday is this week…thinking he won’t be too broken hearted that I had to make something quickly… :)
