I knit this for my childhood friend’s second boy, due at the end of June.

Pattern
I worked on this slowly over the course of a month. It’s an easy pattern, but I would definitely cast on more stitches to make it wider. As of now, it’s a tall, skinny blanket and I wish it was closer to a square. I bound off with a US 17 (because it was the next biggest size I had) to maintain a little bit of stretch in the edge.

Yarn
This is the same yarn that I knit my daughter’s baby blanket out of, so I know I like it. It’s very soft, machine washable and wears incredibly well.
