My kid saw this yarn at a craft fair, and begged me to buy it to make him socks. I’ve been wanting an excuse to make socks, and his tiny feet are a great motivator. So I got the super-bright yarn, and off I go.

I’m using 2.5mm needles instead of the 2.75 the pattern calls for, in part because my kid’s feet are skinny. Narrow narrow narrow. Also, I prefer a denser sock for durability.

Also for the narrow factor, I’m doing 2x2 ribbing for the cuff rather than the 3x1 called for, because I want these puppies to stay up on his skinny legs if at all possible. (The pattern calls for the same number of cast-on stitches for all sizes, so I’m comfortable snugging things up for the smallest size.)
