gauge on worsted was a touch tight, so went up in stitch count from the biggest size, and knit the back a little longer.

rather than welts for the rows, knit in garter.

added short rows surrounding the top of the vest to add more length without adding bulk to the top. 5 sets on each side, 6 stitches apart. continued bottom increases throughout the short rows, and continued garter stitch texture as well.

knit all of the handspun in the round to optimize that without worrying about a bind off. used the BT ultramarine as a 5st applied i-cord.
