Recently I’ve started to like reverse stockinette stripes on the sleeves. See this and this. It works even in mohair: the colour is quite dark and the yarn is fuzzy, yet the stripes are visible. This time with a turtleneck.
Yarns: 1) mohair on cone, quite thin, I would say 25g/500 m or even thinner; 2) laceweight merino-polyamide blend (60 %/40 %), ~100 g/1500 m.
