I’m using thicker yarn so I will made size 36’’ and I hope that the result will be 38’’. On the back I casted on stitches according to size 34’’.

Mods:

• I didn’t like that in the pattern on the shoulder there was somethng that looks like a seam. To avoid that I used Judy’s magic cast on to first 19 s ( first shoulder), longtail cast on 36 s (neck) and again Judy’s magic cast on to last 19 s (second shoulder). So I didn’t have to pick up stitches for fronts. Also I used to cast on purple yarn (yarn A). After that I started to knit with white (yarn B). After first 20 rounds I picked up all stitches with white yarn so that stripe pattern continued at the same all the time.
• Because my row gauge was off I knitted only 6 rows of stockinette before underarm shapings.
• I started waist shaping when I had knit 7 cm from under arm. I decreased every 6th row 5 times. Then I increased every 4th row 8 times.

This is lovely cardigan although the fronts are little too big.
