I am ALWAYS looking for more fingering, and even light sport, weight scraps. Let me know if you want to fling some my way in Ohio!! I’ve even set up a fun group here on Ravelry where we have lots of regular and swapless swaps going on. Check us out here - http://www.ravelry.com/groups/sock-yarn-swappers. As well as a Facebook group where we’re motivating each other and talking about our projects. That group is here - https://www.facebook.com/groups/356892474513341/*
Casting on 60 stitches (hoping to use up some awesome 40 yard minis from the Swapless Swaps in the Sock Yarn Swappers Group!)
Always starting the next square with the right side facing me
Right side - Slip first stitch with yarn in front, knit to 2 before marker, k2tog, sm, k2togtbl, knit to last stitch, knit last stitch through the back loop
Wrong side - slip first stitch with yarn in front, knit to marker, sm, knit to last stitch, knit last stitch through back loop.
I’m using the small locking stitch markers to mark each square I make within the current month. Then at the end of the month I’ll count and remove them to start over for the next month. Just a fun way to keep track of my progress!
Each square is about 4.5 inches and I’d like the blanket to be about a full/double sized blanket. I’m aiming for about 12 squares x 17 squares, which equals out to 204 squares total!! (Maybe numb it up to 18x24 squares!!)
September 28, 2016 - 12 squares
October 31, 3016 - added 16 squares (28 squares total)
May 22, 2017 - added 9 squares (37 squares total)
September 1, 2017 - added 3 squares (40 squares total)
UPDATE
Decided to go with 12 x 14 squares - 168 total
February 8, 2020 - 44
