laughter I liked the resultant fabric so much I decided to make it into mittens instead of socks. The joy of doing toe-up socks and deciding to make mittens instead of socks before the heel!!

From seeing dudleyknits’ singles spun socks, I thought I’d make some from some roving I’d dyed, too. Part of the project is the spinning itself, so I’m adding that here.

The roving was too pale after the first dyeing, so I dyed it again and got far more vivid colors, so I’m happier with it. The flash seems to bleach things out a bit. Ah well.
