April 2011: Promised Mike a scarf some years ago, and he has reminded me. If I start it now it may be done by winter. Yarn from stash, not too worried about gauge for a scarf.

22nd May 2012: Not even slightly finished by last winter, but I’ve made a reasonable amount of progress. Just finishing the first ball of black off, not sure yet exactly how long I’ll make the finished scarf.

6th January 2013: Not going to be finished in time for this winter either, still making slow progress - reckon about another foot or so of black before I do the finishing stripes.

17th January 2013: last row knot and cast off! Just the ends to weave in now to finish it! Very pleased.
