I decided I wanted patterned heels, so I carried the ribbed bit across the heel. The only tricky part was that due to how you rearrange stitches for the heels, you’ve already knit across one of the heels, so you have to do the pattern stitches on the WS rows. I was able to figure out the reverses without too much trouble, though. =)

If I had to do it again, I would probably just use the L foot chart for the R sock and the R foot chart for the L sock heel. Trust me, this would make sense!
