Cast on 44 sts for a narrower one skein scarf - only 4 repeats of lace pattern across.

The yarn shop wound the malabrigo into a cake for me, but the cake fell apart midway through the scarf - parts of the soft yarn stuck to each other, and soon I had a tangled mess. This project was an act of patience for me - it took me many nights I could have spent knitting to untangle the yarn.

Oct. 23, 2012 - Almost a year to finish this - garsh! Blocking now.

Finished size after blocking: 6.5” wide by 99.5” long. Will probably stretch it wider next time I block it to open up the eyelets more and make it shorter.

Did 23 repeats of pattern and still had enough yarn to do one (or two?) more, but really I’m quite done with this project, and it’s more than long enough.

Finally got to wear it today - love it!
