(1)k4,pu1,k,pu1,k4,double decrease* repeat 2 more times then k4,pu1,k,pu1,k4
(2)p2 tog through back, p all stitches to the last 2, p2 tog through back
Switch to pink and continue to switch every 2 rows
Double-decrease is: slip 2 stitches knitwise together, k next stitch, pass the two slipped stitches over

1 skein of each color got me to about 59-60 inches
unblocked.

Ended the scarf at 80 inches unblocked.

Used 1.5 skeins green and 1.25 red
