Finished! I used up ALL the (coloured) yarn, with the tassels. Very, very happy with it. Quick projects, so gratifying :>
I took a lot of pictures because I love to take pictures of my cats :>
Last garter section, I increased 6 sts per RS rown and some more stitches now and then in WS rows.
I also split the central spine a few rows to the end, and made some YOs there to attach the tassles.

Advancing fast. I am knitting this one mainly as a break from boring double knitting.
This may be my most favourite yarn ever. Sheds like crazy, of course, at 80% angora. I couldn’t care less, though.
Just touching this yarn is heavenly, and that’s all I am doing. Just knitting away, no pattern, just a very vague idea of shaping (rather high rate of increase for a shallow triangle, on RS rows I am increasing 4 sts, and when I feel like it on WS rows here and there I am increasing 2 extra sts), and colour (different width stripes at the beginning, with some white, 2 row stripes later on, and generally going from lighter to darker). I am putting some texture here and there with garter ridges and some ribbing and such. When I run out of yarn, well, that is it. I am having a great time (and have a lint roller at work!).

Today I dyed the yarn (notes in yarn stash page). For a striped shawl.
Swatched and needle 5mm and 5.5mm is too big. Maybe 4.5mm.
