1/25/15: switched to size 1.5 DPNs, knit 1 round, 2x2 ribbing 22 rounds, Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off.

11/20: ….finished 10th lace repeat…..

8/25: Without a gift sweater to work on, I can finally get back to these. Finished 8th lace repeat and the heel. Going to continue in stockinette above the heel as per FLK instructions for 10 rows, the length of 1 lace repeat. I want to knit these until I run out of yarn, so… tall socks!!

8/3: Finished 7th lace repeat. Within an inch or so of doing the heel.

7/30 Finished 6th lace repeat.

7/29: Finished 5th lace repeat. Just going to do FLK, I’ll do the slip stitch heel with the Reykjavick socks I’m planning to do next.

7/26: Serious hand pain! This sucks.

7/25: Finished 4th lace repeat and started 5th last night. I think the sizing will be fine. I’ve been avoiding trying a slip stitch heel, the only kind I’ve ever done is a short row heel, but the next socks that I want to knit have to have a slip stitch heel, so I might buck up and do it here too.
Cast on 2 socks at a time onto 40” sock rockets. Definitely not matching, one sock is lilac and the other is grey. Whoops!

7/13: I’m worried that these socks are going to be too big. I’m almost done with the first lace pattern repeat and if they’re too big at that point, I’m going to frog back to the toe and do ribbing on the sole of the foot.
