10-23-15 - finished, except for buttons (which I hope to buy AND sew on today)

GREAT pattern - especially for free! - the only issue I found was on the back, after the armhole bindoff: after working the decreases, I had 36 stitches left; I bound off 16 for the back neck.

I like my neck and armhole edges to match, so instead of a sewn-on neckband, I picked up stitches (2 for 3 rows, just like the armhole) and worked 2x2 ribbing for 6 rows. Added K2tog, YO buttonholes on the left side, 3rd row.

the bottom photo shows the stuffed fox that is our inspiration for this costume…next up - a fox hat!

keeping 2 stitches at each edge in stockinette (to help with adding the neck band; don’t want to seam or pick-up P2tog stitches!)
