finished size (after wearing twice) ~ 100” x 17” at the deepest point. basically it’s perfect!

5-18-16 - bound off last night - seemed like a game of yarn chicken, but I won by 5 g, so I guess not really that close. I wove in the ends this morning and gave it a 3-hour soak. It’s drying now.

5-11-16 - increases done! 2nd skein weighs 31 g, so I used 20 to finish the increases; need to start decreases when I have 20 g left. Piece measures about 38”, so I think I’ll just follow the pattern as written (no extra straight rows).

5-10-16 - finished the first skein and joined the second just before starting the last row of the 20th increase repeat. for sure three skeins is going to be plenty!

5-9-16 - finally figured out the rhythm of the increase section so I don’t have to keep referring back to the pattern. seems to be going faster now. like the lace on the 5’s and seems like it’s going to be wide enough.

5-6-16 - bought the yarn yesterday and couldn’t wait to get started. …slow going at first.
