4-5-12 - and done - well at least the knitting - it’s blocking now! used 3-needle bind off to join the collar edges (and I think it looks good to have a seam there…more finished). and I just updated the yardage - wow! I can’t believe how close I came to what the pattern said (450 yds)…please note that includes my swatch AND I did NOT do the i-cord (I like the edges as is :-)

3-26-12 - just finished joining the left front - what a great technique! still loving the pattern, and the yarn.

3-19-12 - couldn’t wait. cast on last night and finished the third lace repeat tonight. LOVE. the lace is just enough to be fun, but easy enough to read so I’m not chained to the chart.

3-14-12 - swatched. cast on 35 stitches and knit 5 stitches in garter on both edges around the 25 chart stitches. 25 chart stitches = 5.5” and 18 rows ~ 3” YAY! not planning to cast on til later this month.
