Notes

3-20-17 - and done! I gave it a good long soak and then dried on low to get it back to a size S (whew!). I followed the pattern as written the rest of the way except:

  1. did 1x1 ribbing on size 3 needles (17 rnds for the bottom and sleeves and 7 rnds for the neck)

  2. worked a regular (but loose-ish) bind-off

  3. made sleeves about 15” (better for Georgia spring/summer than long sleeves) - worked decreases on rnd 12 then every 8th round to get down to 52 stitches before the ribbing.

3-19-17 - done with the knitting (4th photo from the top).

3-16-17 - whoosh! started the 2nd sleeve this afternoon. hoping to sneak in a finish by the March 20 deadline!

2-21-17 - more inflight entertainment on the trip home and I’m almost through the first repeat of the lace. loving it!

2-18-17 - ready for the sleeve split try-on … needs another inch. will knit 6 more rounds and then split. (also realized I knit one extra increase round and will cast on 2 less stitches for the underarm to adjust. will give me a little more ease above the armhole, which might work out better anyway since I’m about 33-1/2 inches full bust).

2-16-17 - cast on in celebration of my trip to Wisconsin to see Sara.
