3-18-16 - posting photos :-) super happy with the finishing - all I did was weave in the ends, then wet-blocked. It dried beautifully - nice and soft and the ends seem like they’ll stay put. thank you to my sister for the FO shots - not the most scenic, but at least it’s spring!

3-11-16 - finished the sleeves yesterday. bound off on round 60 so I only used one ball per sleeve. all that’s left is weaving in ends and blocking!

3-4-16 - body is done!

3-3-16 - two more rows and then I’m ready for the short-row shaping on the body. haven’t encountered any knots in the last 4 skeins :-)

2-27-16 - I LOVE knitting sweaters on big needles! cast on yesterday and I’m already to the sleeve separation. Put the stitches on waste yarn and the fit looks good. On to the body!

a note on the yarn - it’s soft and really easy to knit; also blocks beautifully. but I encountered knots in two of the ten skeins I used … 87 yards with knots is not good. :-(
