1-7-17 - done! I was confused about starting the crown shaping - pattern said to work rounds 1 and 2 of the chart one more time and the crown shaping would start after the last cable cross on round 2…round 2 has no cables? …I went ahead and worked those two rounds anyway.

1-3-17 - worked through the first cable repeat - had trouble with rounds 2/3 and 16/17 - here’s what I did:

I ended the repeats on round 2 with K3 (following the written instructions), except for that last repeat, when I used those last two knit stitches to make the first cable crossing on round 3.

Then that P2 at the end of round 3 on the chart is a boo-boo - the repeat for round three ends at the last cable crossing (so you don’t work those last two purl stitches) - until you get to the end of the round. and then you work those 2 purl stitches.

followed the written instructions for round 16, until the last repeat and then I did P1, 1/1RPC, … per round 17.
ended round 17 k1… and then worked round 18 as written.

12-31-16 - finished the ribbing … can’t wait to start the cables!
