7-27-17 - added a very fun photo - I was fortunate to be knitting along with FOUR friends - and we’ve all finished!

blocked it with wires along the two straight edges and pins to pull out the picots along the spines of the final lace section. finished piece is 44” (picot edge) x 65” x 81” - pretty much perfect!

7-16-17 - done! (well it will be once it dries :-) I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shawl!

7-8-17 - finished up clue 3 yesterday and clue 4 today. had a lot of fun with the clue 3 mosaic - it’s my favorite part of the shawl so far. can’t wait to see how it ends!

6-23-17 - finished clue 2. smitten.

6-21-17 - cast on and worked clue 1 (photo taken with 3 more repeats of mosaic to go, but hopefully that will happen later today).

6-18-17 - swatched (on a 6)! looks like my gauge is spot on with just a little bit of pinning out. now need to wind the actual yarn and get started.

6-14-17 - I was explaining to my sister that I wasn’t going to participate in this year’s MKAL because I didn’t really like knitting (or wearing) two colored shawls unless they were Georgia Tech’s gameday colors. As soon as those words were out of my mouth, I remembered that I had white & gold to knit myself a new gameday piece for the fall. Never say never!
