Notes

Okay, not 100 percent handspun, as I used a bit of beaverslide merino for the pink trees, but pretty darn close.

I crocheted a total of 14 trees -- 4 pink, 4 green, and 6 white. The garland string is hemp cord sewn through a chain stitch at the tip of the tree and knotted to keep everything in place. I can’t wait to hang these along my stairs in a few weeks.

Finally winnowing away the handspun in my stash. With a late-season hurricane about to batter us, I am suddenly compelled to prepare for the holidays. I’ve been meanin to make a Grandma tree garland for a couple of years. I. Guess it tookthe threat of an “historic” storm to motivate me to begin.
