I wanted a short-sleeve cardigan for summer time.
At the same time, I was interested in the construction of this pattern, which starts with a sleeve edge and works sideway upto the center of the back edge and sews R&L sides together in the center.
The pattern calls for DK yarn, but all the needles I used were the same ones as the pattern calls for, intending the cardi to be light and swingy.
Happy now!

袖から編み始め背中で合わせる構造をやってみたかったので、決めました。夏用カーディも欲しかったので＾＾
糸量もぎりぎりだったこともあり、指定より細い糸だけど、針のサイズはそのままにして、軽い一枚になるようにと、糸も足りますようにと。軽く仕上がり、ピンポン玉大の糸も残り良かった。
実はちょっとしっくりこず、解くつもりでいったんは仕上げてましたが、水ブロッキング後は糸もパターンに馴染んで、よい感じの仕上がりになりました。これまた良かった！

gauge: 21/29 on jp#6(3.9mm) needle

Using M1R, M1L method for inc.

Have left the stitches of the centre back edge to do かぶせはぎ.
60 rows before changing needle sizes.
Increasing the size from jp#8(4.5mm), jp#10(5.1mm) up to jp#12(5.7mm).

4 rows of garter at the bottom and elastic BO on ws.
2rows of garter along the center front edge and elastic BO using jp#12.
