冬小物KALのお題の一つを母へのプレゼントも兼ねて編んだミトン。
ミトンを編むのはまさに、高校生の時以来。楽しかった＾＾

I made the mitts both for ‘winter KAL’ and for my Japanese mum.
It ‘s been more than 20 years since I knitted mittens. Had an enjoyable time again!!

Gauge: 6sts on jp#5(3.6mm) but I picked up needles one size smaller , jp#4(3.25mm)
I did a provisional Cast-on with waste yarn and knitted one working st and one co st together across the decrease row, where I didn’t decrease but did decrease at the next row, so there is one extra row.
To have 36 sts on the 1st decrease round, I omit k2tog once.
37rows in st st before thumb gusset
4row from the top of the thumb gusset before the lace patt.
Single crochet BO, picking up the purl sts on WS at the same time (jp5 hook).

07/12 親指手前まで試し編みしてみた。
モヘアってケバも太さに考慮されているのかな？ウエイトのわりに糸そのものは指定より細いから、ちょっとスカスカ感があってしっくりこない、のとＤＰＮでの輪は編み目がいまいちきちゃない。
ので、仕切りなおして、４号に持ち替えて編みなおしてみる。母は手が小さいのでサイズはそのままで行ってみる。

それとＣＯをProvisional Cast-on with waste yarn にしてつなげるところで２目一緒に編むことにする。最初の減目段でつなげる、そのときは減目なしで。次の段で減目。１段多いことに。
次の最初の減目段の目数が奇数になっているので、k2togを一つ抜かして偶数に。
