Holiday Sanity plan: for November and December, pack a bag of oddballs and load up my tablet with podcasts. During the city bus ride to and from work, listen to podcasts and crochet granny squares.

Haven’t decided yet how many squares total. I’m thinking at least 12 for a lap blanket. Will see how much stress relief I need (or how much yarn I have).

09 November 2013:
Looks like I have enough to do a 15 square lap blanket with a border. Dyed 3 small skeins of Cotton Ball (white) that might get used for this. Have been using either Provencal Rose (dark pink-red) or Tea Rose (medium pink) for the outer rounds; if I make that consistent I’ll need to buy more yarn. Will look at photos of the squares completed so far in grayscale so I can pick out at least two more colors of the same value and see if that works (I can buy more yarn, but the point really is to work through my existing stash).

July 2017: it marinated for a while; pulled it out recently and made additional squares for a 5x6 lap blanket. Using a continuous join-as-you-go in color CW-375 Rue.
