Notes

Brioche stitch creates a garment that feels lighter and bouncier than the aran weight normally would. This is definitely still a winter scarf, but it’s not at all heavy.

The yarn is really soft, too, and I love the color choices in the of the Heartland yarn.

I cast on 36 stitches and my finished scarf measures 10 inches wide and 26 inches long (laying flat it’s doubled, so it would be a total of 52 inches long if it wasn’t circular).

I tried to figure out how to kitchner stitch the brioche pattern, but I failed. So I just cast off and sewed the ends together. It’s a pretty ugly seam, but hopefully it can stay hidden.
