Dec 20: I’m making the large size but I think it’s going to be a bit small. Obviously I’m a bit lazy about gauge. Oh well; still super cute! Finally done with the front band and picked up stitches for the body. I picked up about 20 more than it called for to fit my big head.

Dec 21: Finished! When I joined in the round, I ended up adding way more than what was called for… my head is seriously huge, people. Added a fluffy pom pom and steam blocked. The steam blocking really helped; before I wasn’t sure it would fit at all. It did mush the cables a bit, but I don’t even care. All in all I’m very pleased with it.
I had to break into my second skein just for the pompom; I wish I could have gotten away with only one skein!
